Kodaikanal,the honeymooners destination,friends travel destination,a family visit spot.For us,it was the best relaxation spot.
There are many beautiful places to visit in kodaikanal but what I loved most is the hotel we stayed.It was the best resort hotel I could ever come across.After a day in kodaikanal,I wanted to stay back in the hotel and don't want to miss the two days away from the beautiful scenic view from hotel.(Anyhow ,I enjoyed visiting pine forest after that :D ).

We stayed in 'Kodai Resort Hotel'.Depending on the place we are in ,we decide whether to roam around in a group or take individual trips.Kodaikanal,we wanted to explore with a group of strangers so brought group packages for 3 days.It was affordable compared to individual trip :D .

More than the group ,the guide who is a localite (obviously) was friendly.He helped us with our photo captures since we didn't want to waste time with self timer clicks.

Flowers ,Flowers everywhere in kodaikanal.We went in April of 2014 and the season was perfect time to visit.After the Kodai resort hotel ,the next most I loved is pine forest.If I have to tell one uniqueness from other pine forests in rest of places ,then I would say ,nothing much.It is just beautiful.
Anyone who plans to visit kodaikanal, I would surely recommend atleast a 4 day trip.But if it is for relaxing then the resort hotels would be apt to stay back and relax.
