What we did in Goa :
I have created more beautiful video of our Goa Travel. Here is my Goa Vlog

It was first time my closest cousin visited us to Chennai. We were all very excited. All our flights and hotels for Goa trip were pre booked. We knew hotels in Goa would be expensive in March like in December. We tried group on package for hotel booking (now nearby) after good research. So,my point is don't take anything for granted like we underestimated groupon for tourism.Do your research, take everyone's input from trip advice websites and go-ahead,give it a try.I must say the hotel is good and worth for the price. It is in the centre, well maintained, good ambience and owner communicated directly with customers for any need. All I want to say is that it's not a hifi restaurant yet the facilities and hotel all together has more worth than the price we booked for. It is near calangute beach ,Candolim,North Goa.It took us more than an hour to reach Candolim from airport which is in Dabolim 😓😓😓,34 kms !!!And then just in between the airport and hotel,I saw the Cruiseee!Oh !This is the place I am gonna come tomorrow?!Wow!Excited!Just seeing it from far itself is very beautiful.

Deltin Royale Cruise
Deltin Royale Cruise

Our first day was CRUISE JOURNEY for which I was very much excited.Goa is hot during this time but the cruise journeys are at evenings, sunset time, you get to see the city around for 2 continuous hours with music, dance and at Some, food carnival too.It was beautiful city at night time watching from cruise. From our cruise we see one more in opposite direction to ours and it is casino cruise, which is very huge, full of lights, hifi.Everyone were admiring the casino cruise. It is written 'Deltin Rolyale' on the cruise. It really looked very royal.Looks like this cruise stays there on water for days together and people are very much involved in THE CASINO cruise all those days.

Basilica of Bom Jesus
Basilica of Bom Jesus
After the Cruise journey, our next day plan is to go to Basilica of Bom Jesus, one of the oldest churches in Goa.The architecture is beautiful. This is considered as an important ancient monument, made with precious marbles and what not, took 10 years to build.

We heard about Shantha Durga temple, how old it is and how beautifully it is built. So we went to this temple built in 17th century! The architecture is so beautiful, you could see a mix of roman and maratha architecture. The maroon dome , building outer part is attractive and the sthambha (pillar).white in color is magnificent. The temple is on the foothill of a village, hence the surroundings of temple is very serene.Villagers and other tourists believe shantha durga temple as powerful and ofcourse the temple environment itself gives you that feel.Whoever sees the temple from outside,in first look imagines it as a part of palace :),atleast I did.

One day morning, all of us wore sky blue dresses :D just to have a beach theme and started to beach. How many ever beaches you visit, not going to Goa Beach will have it all incomplete.Anyhow my cousin loves swimming and whatever time it was, didn't matter to him :D.On the other hand though we loved the view and beach place, we wanted to go back to hotel and come when its cool outside. We don't want to tan our skin like many others(foreigners) who wants the sun tan :),obviously Indian skin is always fearful for that.☀☀.We came back at around 4 pm again to the Calangute beach and had a great fun,All the beaches are on the same stretch but are separated just by names. There are many watersports in Goa beaches and participation is great fun.Don't laugh at me if I say,I never was involved in watersports!Yes,I never did !:(.So parasailing for me,was a big thing!Until next time I say,I have no water phobia, please hold on your thought of how silly I am 😰😰!Okay,So we did parasailing and loved it.

Baga Beach
Sunset at Baga Beach
Kiran captured many pics of Sunset at Beach. He just can't turn his eyes from seeing endless waves in beach sitting hours together.Sunset was the most memorable time in our Goa trip,if I make a video of all the pictures during sunset, one would easily spot the movement,"sunsetting"Oh ,how beautiful!Local guys were charging way too much for water sports,we had to bargain or go back and try in another beach, bargain again keeping in mind the prices in other beaches :D.Since we had time and wanted to see all the beaches,we were not ready to compromise on the price. So finally we took our tickets and had fun.

Beach Time

Good option for conveyance in Goa is the rented vehicle .Some foreigners visit Goa and stay back for a month, they take rented scooter/car/jeep and explore the city.We wren't crazy on car,so we took 2 scooters,Honda Activa. This scooter saved us from not missing our planned places ,could visit all of them on time. Especially, last day of our trip, we went to flea market which was not planned and could make it to airport in our return on time. And by this time we already knew very well all the routes in north goa so it was easy for us to take our scooter and roam around.

I usually ain't crazy to visit forts, they have a history and good architecture I agree, but I love places surrounding beaches or flowers and beautiful trees and neat wide roads. On kiran's insistence we went to Chaport Fort and Aguada Fort.Chapora Fort is the place 'Dil Chahtha Hein'(Bollywood movie) scenes were shot ,I wasn't much excited to see the spot but once I went to the fort, I fell in love with the surrounding, nice breeze, big fort. Then I realised, you go to a Fort in Goa,it is also surrounded by beach and the view is scenic.

Aguada Fort
Aguada Fort
Some places are worth visiting, one among is Goa.Aguada Fort is my second favorite spot(first being sunset in beach) here. The man in the above picture enjoys fishing at Fort Aguada :D.It was beautiful ,standing and seeing blue water.Seems that is how the fort got its name.Aguada is 'water'.This water was used as water supply for ships in Portuguese time,16th century. The Fort is so big that it is considered as one of the biggest and popular forts.
